Responsibilities

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Assist with Project Management’s support of the Sales, Marketing, and Product Development activities:

    1. Evaluate customer needs and concerns.
    2. Assist with technical review to develop / confirm scope of work including exceptions and clarifications
    3. Develop estimation of repair, modification, or maintenance timeline and costs (material and labor).
    4. Develop project schedule
    5. Support review of contractual terms and conditions.
    6. Respond to customer questions and address issues in a timely manner
    7. Travel to customer site, as needed.
    8. Develop and deliver presentations to the needs of the customer

 

Assist with Project Management activities and responsibilities as follows:

  1. Coordinate design engineering, procurement, manufacturing, operations, quality, safety and other supporting functions throughout the project lifecycle.
  2. Coordinate internal project team and project activities.
  3. Write detailed project order with itemized scope of entire repair/modification steps.
  4. Conduct internal & external project meetings (project status, design review, execution planning, etc.)
  5. Support project execution coordination.
  6. Support project setup and maintenance within the company ERP system.
  7. Administer change control management on assigned projects.
  8. Support project reporting and presentations.
  9. Assist with managing customer satisfaction.
  10. Comply with all ASME Code & NBIC requirements. 

Assist in directing the activities of the Field Technicians.

  1. Assist in setting schedules and priorities of Field Technicians.
  2. Provide leadership to Field Technicians in project execution.

Administrative Functions:

  1. Support corporate initiatives
  2. Support and participate in safety procedures and initiatives
  3. Support quality process and initiatives
  4. Support and participate in continuous improvement process.
  5. Provide input for performance evaluations of project team members. 

Execute other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Education:                              Technical Training, Industry Experience, Certificate or Degree preferred.

Travel Requirements:             Up to 50% travel with overnight and extended stay potential. Valid driver’s license required.

Work Experience:                   5 years min. experience in related field / industry.

Project Management or Project execution experience involving stainless steel vessels and    ASME code a plus.
