    Reports To: Executive Vice President of Service Business Unit

    Location: Springfield, MO

    Job Type: Full-Time/Salary

    Position Summary:

    This position will manage the Field Service team members and Service Project Managers with post-sales technical/customer support, installation assistance, resolving issues, warranty claims, and service work of bio-pharmaceutical equipment


    • Support the activities of the Sales, Marketing, and Product Development.
      • Evaluate customer maintenance concerns.
      • Provide estimation of repair, modification, or PM costs (material and labor).
      • Responsibilities include release of turnover package to customer after project completion.
      • Travel with Territory Account Managers as needed.
    • Project Management.
      • Write detailed project order with itemized scope of entire repair/modification steps.
      • Determine the number of Field Technicians required for a given project & arrange travel.
      • Arrange tool shipment & return, conduct Kick-off meeting with customer, QA, & Production.
      • Comply with all ASME Code & NBIC requirements.
      • Daily coordination with QA, Engineering, Production, and Accounting regarding projects.
    • Assist in directing the activities of the Field Technicians.
      • Assist in setting schedules and priorities of Field Technicians.
      • Provide leadership to Field Technicians in project execution.
    • Execute other tasks as assigned
    • Ability to travel when required


    • Bachelor of Science degree Technical Field
    • 5 years min. experience at a tank fabrication facility either in sales, engineering, or manufacturing.
    • Sales and/or Project Management experience involving stainless steel vessel fabrication.
    • As much as 50% travel with overnight and extended stay potential.
    • Ability to work professionally and diplomatically with a variety of internal and external business partners.
    • Good written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to analyze and solve problems in a team environment.
    • Valid driver’s license required
